Laura Rivera
Laura founded The Laurita Group in 2020 after years working across the food, beverage, and baking industries, while hosting supper clubs and offering catered desserts. Jersey-girl with a huge passion and love for health, wellness, and food, her vision was to build a collective that curates experiences built on community, fun, and enhanced with something fresh, surprising, and delightful.

Her style blends Dominican roots and Caribbean influence with Mediterranean inspiration from her travels through Greece and Turkey, plus classic Americana done right. Laura specializes in serving pleasing dishes and desserts only made with fresh, high-quality ingredients, giving them rich and elevated flavor.

Her approach is also shaped by her time spent studying and testing what separates “great” from unforgettable. Her love for hospitality is simple and deeply rooted in what makes the experience special: attention to detail, scratch-made goods, high standards, and connection. When she’s not in the kitchen, she’s usually training, hiking, reading, dancing, or at hanging out with her two cats.
Ben Quiñones
Chef Ben Quiñones brings more than 3 decades of culinary experience to The Laurita Group. Throughout his career, he has cooked in restaurants, high-capacity catering kitchens, food trucks, and private events, developing the versatility and precision required to execute exceptional experiences at every scale.

His culinary journey has taken him around the world, throughout Asia, Europe, Latin America, Morocco, and Egypt, where he immersed himself in diverse cultures and cuisines while learning alongside chefs within the United States and internationally. These experiences have shaped his distinctive approach to food, blending technique with bold, globally inspired flavors.

His philosophy remains the same: every dish should tell a story, honor its process, and leave a lasting impression.

As Chef de Cuisine, Chef Ben leads operations with discipline, creativity, and an unwavering commitment to quality. From sourcing exceptional ingredients to mentoring the culinary team, he ensures every experience reflects The Laurita Group's standard of thoughtful hospitality. When Ben is not in the kitchen, he is training, reading, or coaching entrepreneurs, executives, and athletes.
